Experimental Licenses

As a primary characteristic of licensed spectrum, 900 MHz spectrum is not available for casual exploration. Formal trial use of 900 MHz requires a submission through an experimental license. These licenses document initiatives to prove out the viability of the spectrum to support utility operations and other mission-critical services. Many of these trials have explored aspects of use for private LTE networks, with many positive results.
